MTG Hatsune Miku Commander Deck List: All 100 Cards & How It Plays

If you're looking for the complete Hatsune Miku Commander deck list, Wizards of the Coast has revealed all 100 cards in Secret Lair Commander Deck: Hatsune Miku.
The green-white Commander deck is led by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, reimagined as Miku, Song of the People.
Its game plan mixes creatures, tokens and lifegain, then turns that growing life total and battlefield into increasingly difficult threats for opponents to handle.
Wizards officially revealed the complete decklist on August 4, 2026.

What Is the Hatsune Miku Commander Deck?
Secret Lair Commander Deck: Hatsune Miku is a 100-card ready-to-play Selesnya Commander deck designed by Studio X's Carmen Klomparens.
Instead of giving Miku an entirely new mechanical identity, Wizards uses Trostani, Selesnya's Voice as Miku, Song of the People.
That choice tells you a lot about how the deck works. Trostani gains life whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, while the rest of the deck supplies creatures, tokens and cards capable of turning that life total into an actual advantage.

Here is the official 100-card Hatsune Miku Commander deck list, organized by card type. It contains one commander, 28 other creatures, nine artifacts, eight enchantments, seven instants, 13 sorceries and 34 lands.
How Does the Hatsune Miku Commander Deck Play?
The Miku deck has a refreshingly straightforward plan:
Play creatures, gain life, build a bigger board, then make all of that lifegain matter.
Miku, Song of the People gains life whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control. Tokens count too, which makes cards capable of creating multiple bodies especially useful.
From there, the deck gives you several ways to convert lifegain into pressure.
Archangel of Thune turns lifegain into +1/+1 counters for your creatures. Crested Sunmare can reward you with additional Horse tokens. Voice of the Blessed grows as you gain life, while Mirari's Wake pumps your creatures and gives you access to more mana.
Then there is Aetherflux Reservoir, which gives the deck a completely different way to capitalize on a massive life total.
The result is a deck that does not simply gain life for the sake of gaining life. Its strongest cards turn that resource into creatures, counters, board presence or a direct path toward ending the game.
What Are the Best Cards in the Hatsune Miku Commander Deck?
Several cards immediately stand out.
Wizards built the deck around an actual Commander strategy rather than treating it as a box of collectible Miku artwork. Its creatures, lifegain payoffs and token generators have enough overlap to give the deck a coherent plan straight out of the box.
Where Could the Miku Commander Deck Be Upgraded?
The most obvious upgrade targets are consistency and resilience.
The deck runs 34 lands, which is relatively lean for a casual Commander deck. It does have mana acceleration through cards such as Sol Ring, Selesnya Signet, Nature's Lore, Farseek, Cultivate, Llanowar Elves and Avacyn's Pilgrim, but players who regularly struggle to hit land drops may want to increase the land count.
Additional repeatable card draw is another logical upgrade. Skullclamp, Idol of Oblivion, Camaraderie and Shamanic Revelation can help refill your hand, but a creature-heavy deck can still find itself running low on resources after a board wipe.
Those are tuning issues rather than problems with the deck's basic plan. The core lifegain and creature engines already give players a clear foundation to build around.
Which Cards Have Special Hatsune Miku Artwork?
This is where the Secret Lair collector angle really kicks in.
The deck contains 12 foil borderless cards featuring new artwork, plus seven foil borderless Plains and seven foil borderless Forests. Wizards says the product includes 14 new borderless art treatments created by Japanese artists.
Among them is Trostani as Miku, Song of the People, illustrated by KEI, Hatsune Miku's first software package illustrator. Wizards also highlighted artists including HASSAN and NAOKI SAITO.
That gives the deck a legitimate collectible component for Hatsune Miku fans who may care just as much about the exclusive treatments as the actual Commander list.
Can You Still Order the Hatsune Miku Commander Deck?
The guaranteed Secret Lair ordering window has closed.
Wizards offered the deck through a special 24-hour order period beginning August 10, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT and ending August 11 at 8:59 a.m. PT. Every order placed during that window was guaranteed to be fulfilled.
A limited quantity was available for immediate shipment. Wizards said additional North American orders placed during the window are expected to ship in May 2027, with additional EU and UK orders expected in June 2027.
Secret Lair director Matthew Hodgins described the system as an experiment and said it was a direct response to Goblin Storm. Wizards is testing the limited ordering window on products designed to be playable out of the box and could use a similar approach for future products if the experiment works.
