Pokemon 30th Celebration Classic Collection Pull Rate: About 1 in 10 Packs So Far
Pokemon 30th Celebration doesn’t officially release until September 16, but enough early openings are now circulating to give us a first look at the Classic Collection pull rate.
The early number looks surprisingly consistent: about one Classic Collection card every 10 packs.
What Is the Pokemon 30th Celebration Classic Collection Pull Rate?
Based on an early sample of 732 opened packs, collectors recorded 70 Classic Collection cards.
That works out to a pull rate of about 9.6%, or roughly:
1 Classic Collection card every 10.5 packs.
Pokemon does not publish official pull rates, so this should still be treated as an early estimate rather than a guaranteed rate.
What makes the number more interesting is that smaller opening samples have landed in almost the same place. TCGTalk’s early data has the Classic Collection at roughly 1 in 10 packs, while a separate 20-pack Asian box opening produced two Classic Collection cards.
That doesn’t prove the final English pull rate will be exactly 1 in 10, but we’re starting to see a pretty consistent pattern.

How Hard Is It to Pull One Specific Classic Collection Card?
There are 30 Classic Collection cards in Pokemon 30th Celebration.
If all 30 cards are distributed evenly, a 1-in-10.5 category pull rate would imply roughly a 1-in-314 chance of pulling one specific Classic Collection card from a pack.
That number needs a big asterisk.
We don’t know yet whether every Classic Collection card has the same pull rate. Some cards could be harder to pull than others, so I would not treat 1 in 314 as a confirmed Charizard, Pikachu or other individual-card pull rate.
For now, it’s simply what the math would look like if the cards are evenly distributed.
Are These Pull Rates Official?
No.
These numbers come from pre-release openings, not Pokemon itself, and the available samples could include different regions or different types of product collation.
That should become much clearer once Pokemon 30th Celebration officially releases on September 16 and thousands of English packs start getting opened.
For now, though, about 1 Classic Collection card every 10 packs is the best early estimate we have.
And if that number holds, the nostalgic reprints may be considerably harder to pull than some collectors expected.
