Toxtricity has always looked like it belongs on a concert poster, so giving it an Illustration Rare in Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration feels like a pretty natural fit.

Toxtricity 134/128 is a Lightning-type Stage 1 Pokémon with 140 HP, artwork by Kazumasa Yasukuni, and enough damage output to at least make the card itself worth a second look after you're done admiring the art.

Toxtricity 134/128 Continues the Illustration Rare Run

Toxtricity lands at 134/128, immediately after the matching Moltres, Articuno and Zapdos Illustration Rares numbered 130/128, 132/128 and 133/128.

That places it right in the middle of the secret-numbered Illustration Rare portion of the set. Serebii's current 30th Celebration checklist confirms Toxtricity at 134/128 with 140 HP.

And honestly, Toxtricity is exactly the kind of Pokémon I want getting these treatments.

Its whole design already leans into punk music, electricity and attitude. Illustration Rares work best when the artist has a Pokémon with some personality to play with, and Toxtricity certainly isn't lacking there.

What Does Toxtricity 134/128 Do?

Toxtricity isn't just binder material.

Its first attack, Light Punch, deals 40 damage for one Lightning Energy.

The more interesting option is Thunderous Bolt, which deals 150 damage for one Lightning and two Colorless Energy. The tradeoff is that Toxtricity cannot attack during your next turn after using it.

That's a meaningful drawback, but 150 damage from a single-Prize Stage 1 Pokémon isn't nothing.

I'm not ready to start building a championship deck around it, but at least Pokémon gave the card more to talk about than “nice art, moving on.”

How Do You Get Toxtricity 134/128?

Toxtricity 134/128 is part of the regular 30th Celebration booster-pack card pool.

Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration releases simultaneously worldwide on September 16, 2026. Pokémon says each booster pack contains five foil cards, including one of 30 Pikachu illustrations, plus one foil Basic Energy.

We still don't have reliable Illustration Rare pull-rate data, so exact odds for pulling Toxtricity will have to wait until enough product is opened.

Toxtricity probably won't be the card everyone is fighting over when 30th Celebration hits shelves, but that's fine.

Not every good Illustration Rare needs to be the biggest chase in the set.

Sometimes you just need a 140-HP electric punk lizard blasting 150 damage and looking cool while doing it.
