Pokemon Delta Reign has six Special Illustration Rare cards, and Mega Rayquaza ex is easily the name that jumps off the list.

The six-card SIR lineup comes from Japan’s Storm Emeralda set and includes four Pokemon ex alongside two Supporter cards. Raikou ex is already confirmed as #136/103 in Delta Reign, while the remaining English collector numbers are still being revealed. Delta Reign releases on November 6, 2026.

If you’re trying to keep track of the biggest full-art cards in the set without digging through the entire checklist, here are all six Delta Reign Special Illustration Rares.

The six Delta Reign SIRs are expected to carry over directly from Storm Emeralda’s six-card Special Illustration Rare lineup. Storm Emeralda numbered those cards consecutively from #107/076 through #112/076.

Raikou ex is currently the first of the six with a publicly revealed English SIR collector number at #136/103. We’ll update the remaining English numbers as those cards are officially shown.

Mega Golisopod ex

Mega Golisopod ex starts the six-card SIR lineup in Storm Emeralda at #107/076.

The Special Illustration Rare is illustrated by nagimiso, while the regular and Ultra Rare versions use artwork from 5ban Graphics. Mega Golisopod ex is already confirmed as part of Delta Reign through its regular English card.

That gives Golisopod three major versions for collectors to chase once the complete English set arrives.

Raikou ex

Raikou ex is the Delta Reign SIR we know the most about right now.

Its English Special Illustration Rare has been revealed as Raikou ex #136/103, with artwork by Oku. The same artwork originally appeared as Storm Emeralda #108/076.

Raikou also has regular and Ultra Rare versions, but the SIR is the one that gives the Legendary Pokemon the full illustrated treatment.

Mega Golurk ex

Mega Golurk ex follows Raikou in Storm Emeralda as #109/076.

Its Special Illustration Rare uses artwork by Takeshi Nakamura, while the regular and Ultra Rare versions use 5ban Graphics. The regular English Mega Golurk ex is already confirmed as Delta Reign #047/103.

Golurk might not have Rayquaza’s name recognition, but a Mega Evolution SIR is still exactly the kind of card that stands out in a six-card checklist.

Mega Rayquaza ex

Mega Rayquaza ex is the obvious centerpiece of the Delta Reign SIR lineup.

The Japanese Special Illustration Rare is Storm Emeralda #110/076, with artwork by Kazuki Minami, winner of the 2024 Pokemon TCG Illustration Contest.

There is one important distinction here. The Mega Rayquaza ex SIR is not the highest-rarity Rayquaza card from Storm Emeralda. Rayquaza also received a separate top-rarity Mega card at #113/076.

So collectors chasing Rayquaza will have more than one major card to hunt when Delta Reign arrives.

Aarune

Aarune is one of the two Supporter cards in Delta Reign’s SIR lineup.

Its Japanese Special Illustration Rare is Storm Emeralda #111/076, with artwork by Shimaris Yukichi. Aarune also received regular and Ultra Rare treatments.

That makes Aarune one of only two Trainer-focused cards collectors need for the complete six-card SIR set.

Zinnia’s Trust

The final SIR is Zinnia’s Trust, originally Storm Emeralda #112/076.

Its Special Illustration Rare is illustrated by Teeziro, while the regular and Ultra Rare versions use artwork by GIDORA. Zinnia’s Trust is confirmed for Delta Reign, and its regular English card is #103/103.

Zinnia also has a natural connection to Rayquaza and the Delta Episode from Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, which makes her a pretty fitting inclusion in a Rayquaza-focused set.

Which Delta Reign SIR Is the Biggest Chase?

Mega Rayquaza ex is already the card to watch.

Mega Rayquaza ex is already the card to watch.

When Storm Emeralda released in Japan, the Mega Rayquaza ex SIR was considerably more expensive than the other five SIRs, trailing only the set’s highest-rarity Rayquaza card. That doesn’t guarantee English Delta Reign prices will behave the same way, but it gives us an early look at which artwork collectors responded to most strongly.

Raikou ex should also get plenty of attention, while Zinnia’s Trust gives Trainer collectors something to chase alongside the four Pokemon ex.

We’ll have a much better idea once Delta Reign releases and English singles actually start selling.

When Does Pokemon Delta Reign Release?

Pokemon Delta Reign releases on November 6, 2026, with prerelease events scheduled ahead of the full launch.

The set contains more than 135 cards, including six SIRs, 14 Illustration Rares, 17 Ultra Rares and four new Mega Evolution Pokemon ex.

For collectors, the six Special Illustration Rares give Delta Reign one of its cleanest smaller checklists. Mega Rayquaza is the headliner, but completing the group means tracking down Golisopod, Raikou, Golurk, Aarune and Zinnia too.
