Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit is officially here. The set releases worldwide on August 14, 2026, and collectors can now hunt down Play Boosters, Collector Boosters, booster boxes, Bundles, singles, and more. Wizards specifically directs buyers to local game stores, TCGplayer, Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, and other Magic retailers.
But where should you actually buy it? That depends on whether you want the best selection, individual cards, convenient shipping, or something you can open today.

Don't panic if you're hunting for The Hobbit Gift Bundle and can't find one.
It doesn't release until September 4, 2026. The main tabletop set releases August 14, but Wizards intentionally scheduled the Gift Bundle for later.
