2026–2027 TCG Release Calendar

How often is the TCG release calendar updated?

We review the Thornberry Collectibles TCG release calendar every week and update it whenever publishers announce new products, confirm release dates, or change existing schedules.

Whenever possible, dates are verified directly through official publisher announcements and product pages. If an exact date has not been officially confirmed, we label the release as Announced or Roadmap / Expected rather than presenting an estimated date as fact.

Because TCG schedules can change, we recommend checking back as a release approaches for the most current information.

Which trading card games are included?

Our TCG release calendar tracks major English-language North American releases across many of the hobby's most popular games, including:

  • Pokémon TCG

  • Magic: The Gathering

  • One Piece Card Game

  • Disney Lorcana

  • Yu-Gi-Oh!

  • Riftbound

  • Star Wars: Unlimited

  • Digimon Card Game

  • Dragon Ball Super: Fusion World

  • Flesh and Blood

  • Gundam Card Game

  • Union Arena

  • Weiß Schwarz

  • Cardfight!! Vanguard

  • Grand Archive

  • Altered

  • UniVersus

  • Naruto Mythos

Coverage focuses on major booster sets, expansions, starter products, anniversary releases, premium collector products, and other releases that are especially relevant to players and collectors.

We will continue expanding the calendar as new games and products become significant parts of the TCG hobby.

Why do TCG release dates change?

Trading card game release dates sometimes move even after a product has been officially announced. Manufacturing delays, international shipping, regional distribution, product changes, and publisher scheduling can all affect when a set actually reaches stores.

That is also why some entries on this calendar may initially show only a month, quarter, or general release window. We would rather show an accurate October 2026 than invent an October 23 release date that the publisher has not confirmed.

When a publisher changes or confirms a release date, we update the calendar accordingly.

Where do the release dates come from?

We prioritize official publisher sources whenever they are available, including product pages, news announcements, release schedules, and official TCG websites.

When a publisher has announced a product but has not yet published an exact North American release date, we may use reliable distributor, retailer, or organized-play information as supporting evidence. Those releases remain clearly labeled as Announced or Expected until stronger confirmation is available.

Each calendar entry also includes a source link so you can check the supporting information directly.

Why should I bookmark this TCG release calendar?

Keeping track of TCG releases can mean checking a dozen different publisher websites, product pages, and announcement feeds. This calendar puts the major upcoming releases in one searchable place.

You can filter the calendar by game, year, or confirmation status, making it easier to find the products you actually care about.

Whether you're watching the next Pokémon expansion, planning for a One Piece prerelease, tracking a Magic: The Gathering launch, or simply trying to budget for an expensive month of new cards, the goal is simple: help you see what's coming next without having to hunt for it.
